YOUR SEASON STARTS HERE
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
wHEN CAN I REGISTER?
Registration period will be live around April break and will promptly close upon capacity or by end of June.
when are practices and games?
Practice time will vary each season depending upon field availability, coaching availability, and team/league structures. We cannot solidify practice times until end of August. As parents ourselves, we understand how helpful it is to have as much information as possible as you plan your family's fall activities. Your player should only register if she is excited and dedicated to 1 practice a week and 1 game on Sundays within the Merrimack and Middlesex Conferences. Away games will not be more than 30 minutes away. Home games are at Westford Academy.
WILL YOU MAKE ANOTHER TEAM, OFFER A WAITLIST, ADD YOUNGER GRADES, ADD OLDER GRADES?
We love the enthusiasm and support given to our program. For grades 7/8, we encourage you to find your district’s middle school program. Our younger players are encouraged to try local skills clinics through WAFH, Strikers, Tyngsboro Sports Center, or Skyhawks/Westford Rec Summer.
Waitlists will be considered if there is a strong request for eligible players. A spot on the waitlist does not guarantee a spot on the team.
As our community grows, we will need more volunteers to help us accommodate our growing teams!
How can I contact you?
You can reach us anytime via our contact page or email at fieldhockeywestford@gmail.com. We aim to respond quickly—usually within one business day.
